The train station is on the express line linking Cologne and Aachen, with further connections to Jülich, Heimbach and Euskirchen. In addition to the various regional (express) trains, the “S-Bahn” suburban train service heading towards Cologne also stops in Düren.
The train station is home to a Deutsche Bahn customer service desk and a newsagent that doubles up as a ticket counter. Also well worth a visit inside the train station is the little café serving up all kinds of baked treats. You can make use of the public toilets there for the price of 50 cents and store your luggage in the available lockers.
Keen cyclists can leave their bikes at the secure cycle park at the train station.
