They Lived in Düren – The Protestant Cemetery

The Protestant Cemetery is a unique cultural and historical site, the likes of which can now only be found in a few cities. Established in 1825, the old cemetery reflects Düren’s history through the impressive tombs of prominent families. This contemplative place is characterized by a large number of monumental family gravesites for industrialist families. Impressive sculptures by renowned Rhineland sculptors can be admired. During the approximately 2-hour tour, stories are told about well-known families and almost forgotten events. Experience the charm of this peaceful place.
